The most important advantage of the core barrel is that it helps to concentrate torque and squeezing force on a small circle of cutting teeth.
Core barrels are generally divided into two types: 1- core barrel with bullet head (applicable to solid rock up to 100Mpa or rock with deep cracks) 2- core barrel with roller bit (applicable to compressive strength greater than 100Mpa Very strong rock formation) Cutting diameter range: 600-2500mm
